Privacy statement
This privacy regulation explains what information Qredits collects, how it is handled, and how your privacy is safeguarded. Through our privacy regulation, we inform you about what data we store, what is transmitted to third parties and/or other users of Qredits, and we draw your attention to your rights. We recommend that you read this privacy regulation carefully.
Qredits
Qredits is responsible for the processing of personal data that takes place on and via the website www.qredits.nl www.aruba-nl.qredits.com and www.qredits.com. Qredits is also responsible for the processing of personal data necessary to help entrepreneurs as a credit provider by offering entrepreneur tools, mentoring, and providing business loans.
Qredits is a trade name of the Stichting Qredits Microfinanciering Nederland. Qredits is located in Almelo (7607 GB) at Egbert Gorterstraat 6 and is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 08183535. Electrically, it can be reached via: info@qredits.nl.
Why does Qredits collect and process personal data?
Processing your data is necessary to properly offer the desired products and/or services and to execute the agreement in which you are involved. Also, some processing of your data is necessary where there is a legitimate interest or a legal obligation.
Depending on the products or services you wish to use with us, Qredits processes your personal data for a selection of the following purposes:
- For providing the products and/or services, including Credit, Mentoring, Training, and E-learning;
- For entering into or executing an agreement in which you as a party are involved;
- To comply with any legal obligations that may apply to Qredits;
- To check your creditworthiness and solvency, to check and verify information for accuracy with third parties;
- To verify your identity;
- To send you information about the - whether or not future - products and/or services - of Qredits and its affiliated parties;
- To better tailor Qredits' products and/or services to the wishes and needs of its users;
- For the availability of the website;
- For the security of the website and/or protection of Qredits' interests;
- To consult anonymized statistical data;
- In the context of mentoring guidance;
- For research purposes;
- To deliver targeted marketing and advertising, (service) updates, newsletters, and promotional offers;
- To offer you customer service;
- For the registration of notifications of disputes and (alleged) infringements of intellectual property rights and/or other unlawful acts;
- To handle any complaints as accurately and completely as possible.
What information does Qredits collect and process?
Qredits has different target groups. A large target group consists of (potential) entrepreneurs with credit needs. In addition, Qredits offers mentoring and training, which can also be used by non-credit customers. Different types of personal data are processed for the different target groups. This privacy statement therefore distinguishes between these target groups.
Personal data for a credit application
Individuals who apply for a credit or enter into a credit agreement with Qredits can use the MijnQredits environment for credit customers. This is a secure environment in which your credit data is displayed. In this environment, you also enter personal data yourself. In addition, you must create a password in this environment which will be used for verification in the future.
When assessing a credit application, we evaluate whether we can grant credit. For this, we also use data that we receive from you and from others. This concerns the following data.
Data of the credit applicant
Gender, first name, initials, surname, date of birth, country of birth, nationality, marital status, address details, valid email address, mobile phone number, telephone number, main source of income, highest level of education, familiarity with Qredits, and any involvement in a bankruptcy.
If you submit a credit application to us, we will carefully evaluate it. To be able to carefully assess the application and to properly implement the agreement upon approval, we may ask you to provide the following data:
- Copy of identity document. You can use the KopieID app for this, available for download in the Apple App Store. The app is issued by the Rijksdienst voor Identiteitsgegevens (part of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations).
- Business plan (with financial plan (operating budget, investment budget, and financing budget) and liquidity budget)
- Balances of previous years
- Income and asset position of yourself and your possible partner, partner, and guarantor
- Private expenses and debt burden
- Name of bank and account number
We may also ask you for medical information or information about a criminal record. We only do this if it is relevant to our service.
Data of partner, business partners and partners of business partners, guarantors and (co-)directors
Gender, first name, initials, surname, date of birth, country of birth, nationality, marital status, address details, valid email address, mobile phone number, telephone number, main source of income, and highest level of education.
You must first ask your partner, partner or partners of partners, guarantor or (co-)directors for permission before providing the data to us. We process the personal data of your partner, partner or partners of partners, guarantor or (co-)directors because processing is necessary to enter into an agreement and because it is necessary to implement the agreement in which they are involved. In addition, data is processed to comply with legal obligations. Think of creditworthiness assessments and verifying identity.
We will conduct the following assessments with your data and the data of other involved parties as mentioned above:
- BKR (credit registrations from the Credit Registration Bureau)
- EDR (payment experience database from Economic Data Resources B.V.)
- D&B (creditworthiness of companies from Dun & Bradstreet)
- VIS (validity of identity documents, Verification Identification System of the Credit Registration Bureau)
- EVA (fraud register, External Reference Application of the Association of Financing Companies in the Netherlands and the Dutch Banking Association)
We only use data from account information service providers (so-called AISPs) after you have given your consent to access the payment account. With this data, we can also assess your creditworthiness.
Company data
Company name, Chamber of Commerce number, Chamber of Commerce registration date, business form, sector, address details, telephone number, valid email address, website, bank account number, name of bank, and business plan. When applying for credit, you must also indicate the desired credit amount.
Personal data without a credit application
If you do not submit a credit application to Qredits, but, for example, want to use a mentor, follow a training course, or download a template, you also provide personal data to Qredits. You enter this data on our website when requesting or registering for a product. This concerns the following data or a selection of this data:
Gender, first name, surname, email address, telephone number, street name, house number, postal code, and city.
Other personal data
Qredits also processes automatically generated information about the surfing behavior of all its visitors while using qredits.nl and/or the Mijn Qredits environment. This information includes the IP address, the type of browser used, and the pages visited.
We use data related to your visit behavior for research into communication possibilities about our products and/or services and further optimization thereof. To recognize you when you visit a Qredits website, we use cookies. We also use these cookies to collect data about visits to our websites. The information you provide to us in this way is only used by us in accordance with the law and is done in a proper and careful manner. You can read more information in our cookie policy.
Qredits applies 'Google Analytics' User ID to gain insight into how visitors use its website and /or MijnQredits. 'Google Analytics' uses cookies to track data about visits to its website (qredits.nl) and /or MijnQredits. This data (including your IP address) is processed by Google and can be linked to other data that Qredits has received from you. Google may provide this data to third parties if it is legally obliged to do so and/or if third parties process the data on behalf of Google. Qredits has no influence on this. Qredits has not permitted Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.
You can set your browser to no longer receive cookies. In that case, Qredits does not guarantee that all products and/or services and functionalities of the website will work properly. Finally, Qredits may receive or collect additional data about you from third parties and add it to your data, as far as permitted by law. For example, your creditworthiness is checked by requesting additional information about you from a credit bureau or fraud prevention company.
Rights of you as a data subject and possibility to object
You can always view and, if necessary, modify your own (personal) data in your account. Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right freely and at reasonable intervals submit an information request to Qredits. If you want to know what data Qredits has recorded about you, or if you want to request, modify, or delete data that you cannot see, change, or delete in your account, you can make a request to this effect.
>Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you as a data subject have several rights such as the right of access, right to be forgotten, right to rectification and completion, right to data portability, right to restriction of processing, right to object to data processing.
If you wish to exercise one of these rights and you are not satisfied with the changes you can make yourself via your MyQredits account, you can submit a request by email: privacy@qredits.nl.
If you have a complaint about the use of your personal data and we do not reach a solution together, or you are not satisfied with our response, you can report this to the Privacy Supervisor.
Retention periods
Your data will be retained by us as long as they serve the purpose for which they were collected.
Personal data will not be retained by Qredits longer than legally permitted. Qredits will delete your personal data in any case if they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and if there is no longer a legitimate interest to process them according to the purposes.
If an agreement has been made between you and Qredits, your personal data will be retained for 7 years after the termination of the agreement (in case of an underlying guarantee from the European Investment Fund, the periods are 7 years after the term of the guarantee agreement). This agreement can, for example, be concluded in the context of credit, a mentoring process, or participation in the entrepreneurship school. If no credit agreement has been concluded, personal data will be retained for 5 years after rejection or withdrawal of a (credit) application. If free products are downloaded via the website, the personal data will be retained for 2 years after downloading the product.
In case of a fraud registration, we must retain the data during the registration period.
Automated decisions
You have the right not to be subjected to automated decisions. Specifically, this means that your credit application will not be completely automated. We guarantee you that there will always be human intervention in the processing of your credit application.
Provision of information to third parties by Qredits
Qredits has the right to outsource the processing of (personal) data, or parts thereof, to (sub-)processors. These are processors necessary for secure online environments and the applications used.
Qredits and its engaged (sub-)processors will not rent or sell your personal data to third parties without your explicit consent.
Qredits provides personal data to third parties to the extent necessary to properly execute the agreement. This includes your bank, the notary, and the tax authorities. If you make payments via the Qredits website, the data necessary to execute a payment will be provided to your bank. A notary will also receive data if we are going to establish a mortgage right. For establishing a pledge, the pledge deed will be submitted to the tax authorities for registration.
Anonymous personal data used for statistical or scientific purposes may be provided. Personal data will in principle only be processed by Qredits - including its employees - as well as by its affiliated companies.
However, Qredits will provide data to third parties if it is obliged to do so under a mandatory provision or a court order. An exception is also made if there is legislation or a judicial order that makes the provision of personal data necessary in the interest of preventing, detecting, and prosecuting criminal (terrorist) acts and/or otherwise.
Data security
Qredits considers it important that your (personal) data is safe with us. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure this data against loss or unlawful processing. We also only engage (sub-)processors who can provide us with guarantees regarding secure data processing.
If you suspect that your account has been misused, you are obliged to contact us.
We ask you to always log in via the homepage of our website and to check if the connection between your computer and our servers is encrypted. Additionally, we ask you to regularly check your password and never give it to third parties. You are responsible for the security of your password, username, and your own network.
Links
The Qredits website may contain links to third-party websites. These sites have their own privacy statements and Qredits is not responsible for their activities, including but not limited to, the handling of data. Users who provide personally identifiable data to or via these third-party websites should first study the relevant privacy statements.
Acquisition of Qredits
If the activities of Qredits, or the resulting or related activities in the broadest sense of the word, are acquired by a third party, in any way whatsoever, or if there is a merger or acquisition, you explicitly give Qredits permission to transfer your (personal) data to third parties by accepting this privacy policy.
Amending the privacy policy
This Privacy Policy may be amended over time if new features are added to Qredits' products and/or services.
Questions regarding this privacy policy
Qredits strives for a proper and transparent processing of your personal data.
