Our partners

Together, we move forward

The business sector, organizations, education, and the government

Together, we achieve more! We are building an active network of market players, social organizations, and the government. We collaborate with various financial institutions that are involved as funding partners with Qredits. Qredits is the first organization in Europe to comply with the European Code of Good Conduct for Microfinance Providers.

Collaboration with banks

Qredits works closely with banks in Aruba and Europe. We are a non-profit foundation. Our lending conditions differ from those of banks, allowing more entrepreneurs to qualify for credit to start or grow their businesses.

Funding partners

Qredits provides loans to entrepreneurs from our own balance sheet. This means we are in control and can make our own agreements with entrepreneurs regarding repayments, making us more flexible. We receive funding from various financial institutions.

These are our funding partners:

  • EIB (European Investment Bank)
  • EIF (European Investment Fund)
  • CEB (Council of Europe Development Bank)
Collaboration with the government and education

To stimulate entrepreneurship, we work closely with the government and the educational sector. Together we develop new initiatives at national, provincial, and municipal levels.

  • Ministry of Economic affairs, Communication, and Sustainable Development
  • University of Aruba

Internationale partners

European Microfinance Network (EMN)

Qredits is a member of the European Microfinance Network (EMN), the leading European network organization for microfinance institutions. The EMN represents the interests of its members at the European level, advocating for effective European legislation and regulations to ensure a stable microfinance market.

Youth Business International (YBI)

Since 2013, Qredits has been a member of Youth Business International (YBI), a non-profit charity founded in 2000 by HRH Prince Charles. YBI aims to combat youth unemployment in the 18-35 age group by promoting entrepreneurship and providing loans, mentorships, and training. This goal aligns perfectly with Qredits' vision.

Caribbean Microfinance Alliance (CMFA)

In 2018, Qredits became part of the Caribbean Microfinance Alliance (CMFA). CMFA is a network of microfinance practitioners in the Caribbean region. The aim is to stimulate the growth and development of the Caribbean microfinance industry. Regionally and globally.
